600 children painted on this in one day! Can you find the blue school beneath?
MAY 10, 2010 I spent all day meeting with the children and talking about being an artist, then they became the artists and painted on this canvas. It began as an outline of an historic( now razed) elementary school in Batavia. It has evolved. All children from grades kindergarten to fifth grade took a turn painting (600+/- students) The kids were fantastic.
